Food at Lysses House Hotel

Not strictly a commercial shoot - but a commercial shoot approach to shooting the food at Pippa and Mat's wedding at Lysses House Hotel on Friday last week.

Not strictly a commercial shoot - but a commercial shoot approach to shooting the food at Pippa and Mat's wedding at Lysses House Hotel on Friday last week. Lysses is a lovely hotel in Fareham which can host civil ceremonies as well as wedding receptions and Mat & Pippa's wedding and reception took place here.

As I'm working my way through the edit of the images for the wedding I took some time to prepare some blog images of the food which was served for the wedding breakfast. Lysses does a mean fork buffet, and this was no exception all of the images you see below are from Buffet Menu B .

I love shooting food, and often try to get to the preparation area or kitchen if I can in those fleeting moments as the meal is served, and where if course I am not shooting the guests eating ! Not only does it serve to give me an opportunity to photograph wonderful cuisine but it also allows the potential inclusion of the food into the album - something which can often be the major cost of any wedding. Thanks to Clive and Nicky for allowing me in to shoot the food !

Anyway - pour a nice glass of wine, and feast your eyes on this wonderful meal !

Josie and Richard have some amazing food lined up for their wedding next month with a french lamb and traditional croquembouche wedding cake - which I'll definitely be looking to capture and post here.
