e-Session: Helen and Justin


Today was the pre-wedding meeting and e-Session for Helen and Justin my early March bride and groom. I hope you agree that this lifestyle portraiture or environmental portraiture gives a different and contemporary twist to those traditional engagement photographs you may have seen !

Today was the pre-wedding meeting and e-Session for Helen and Justin my early March bride and groom.

I met them at Helen's parents and then after we had walked through the day, timetable and photography we jumped in our cars and headed to Lee-on-theSolent seafront for an e-Session. Having poured hard all night I was just grateful that there was a break in the weather and some light - but when we got to the seafront I then realised I had traded this for gale force winds. Not to be outdone we took a meandering walk along the promenade using some of the natural features and man made structures over 45 minutes to get some really cool, romantic and funky images.

Top marks to both Helen and Justin who entered well into the spirit of things and played in a playground, hung out in a grafitti covered shelter and ran along the promenade. I can only imagine what some of the more senior residents of Lee-on-Solent thought about us ! I think I can safely say that we all had fun, and here is a short slideshow of some of the images from the e-Session and four images.

One of these images will be used as a centrepiece for a signing board (AKA memory board) which will be displayed at their wedding for guests to sign around on a large mount. After the wedding I'll replace it with an image from the wedding and the whole thing will then be framed as a memento of the day.
