Katherine & Andy - Petersfield Registers Office and a Private
Farm
The groom and best man - both named Andy were
great, and worked with me to get some nice shots before the ceremony, and then I
was off to meet Katherine at the car park in her Sidley Armstrong - an amazing
and rare car. Having taken some photographs we made our way to the registers
office pausing to get a shot at the door before I left Katherine and went into
the ceremony room.
Todays wedding was with an amazing couple -
Katherine & Andy. We had great fun on an e-Session a month or so ago, and I
had a really good vibe about the wedding. Fortunately the weather held and I
made good use of the lovely old registers office in Petersfield, and the garden.
I was also blessed with 2 weddings beforehand that didn't have a professional
wedding photographer and therefore didn't take up the best areas in the garden
before or after the wedding.
The groom

shots before the ceremony, and then I was off to meet Katherine at the car park
in her Armstrong Siddeley Special - an amazing and rare car. Having taken some

door before I left Katherine and went into the ceremony
room.
It was an emotion filled ceremony
with lots of laughter and some tears - but wonderful to see them so happy to be
married, and then out into the garden for some time with their guests and then a
few formal photographs. We then left for the farm - site also of the e-Session
and where a marquee now stood. I shot some details of the lovely marquee and
farming props as well as the room and again got some informal shots of the
guests. The owners had constructed a haystack and we took advantage of this for
some friends & relaxed family shots, and some fun ones at that - with the
boys all pulling GQ poses and then a mean & moody which had the rest of the
guests and me cracking up with
laughter.
With only a few minutes to
spare I stole the bride & groom away for 10 minutes to get some lovely
relaxed shots before bidding them farewell and allowing them to enjoy their
wedding breakfast.
Some shots from the
day are below.
