Billie Piper's wedding at St Mary's Easebourne - for the record
We are not shooting Billie Piper's wedding on
Monday. We'd love to - she seems like a lovely girl, but were not. I wouldn't
normally post a disclaimer for a celebrity wedding, or any other for that matter
but Billie's wedding caused some amusement today at the Studio and somehow it
seems right to put it on public record.

Billie will get married on
the 31st December 2007 at St Mary's in Easebourne - the village in which she
lives a short distance from Midhurst in West Sussex. As Hampshire wedding
photographers we often shoot across the county border, and in fact we have
worked at the very church - and I think there is a blog entry somewhere with
some details and images. Someone must have worked out our loose affiliation with
said venue through t'internet and called us today - they were from an
independent picture agency. In putting 2 and 2 together and getting
exclusive
they called us up offering us an incentive for any images we could supply given
that they had assumed we would be working the wedding as the official
photographers. We politely informed them that we were not, and I'm not sure they
believed us, as the encouragement for financial reward was increased ! It seems
that the wedding won't be syndicated to any of the mags and therefore the demand
for images of the celebration will be both rare and in
demand.
So to
clarify;
1) We are not currently
hired to shoot the wedding of Billie Piper and Laurence Fox. However, if you
(Billie) or one of your people read this, and you are still looking for a
photographer, albeit a Hampshire wedding photographer, we might be able to sort
you something out.
2) We don't
supply images from weddings to the press, agencies, or anyone else for that
matter unless you ask us to - even for lots of
money
3) Billie - we wish you all
the best for Monday, and for the future - the church is lovely and I'm sure
you'll have a wonderful day.
Now I
hope that clears things up ! :-)
