Meonshore Studios picks up a Fujifilm Professional 2006 "Award of
Excellence" for one of our wedding images
Back in November we were fortunate to find out
that we had won an award for a wedding image taken at Dale and David's wedding
at Rhinefield House in the New Forest though Envisage - the social photographers
association sponsored by Fujifilm Professional. Well annual judging of all of
the winners took place in January and whilst we didn't win the overall title -
we did have this image shortlisted and given this 2006 "Award of Excellence",
which was announced today !

!The image is one of 14 selected for
an Award of Excellence from over 1000 entries, and is one of only 2 wedding
images (the others being
portraits).
I love this striking image, and
almost everyone that sees it comments on the colours and feel to it - feedback
is always good. In fact the civil partnership album I put together as a sample
from this wedding is regularly looked at by my potential Brides as well -
especially as the wonderful location and Rhinefield House, and the stunning
flowers from Exclusively Weddings make it a treat or the eyes.
I'll be issuing some PR out to the
local press over the next two or so weeks and look forward to more success in
this competition this year.
