Meonshore Studios picks up first Fujifilm Award of 2007
In fairness we have not entered the Fujifilm
Envisage Awards until this month because we have been focussing on other areas
for the first three months of the year. However, we did manage to enter the
April round of this competition and were very pleased to learn today that we had
indeed picked up an award for the image below.

for the first three months of the year. However, we did manage to enter the
April round of this competition and were very pleased to learn today that we had
indeed picked up an award for the image
below.Taken in September 2006 this
image was reworked in April as a fine art image to be used in our samples for
our new range of fine art wedding photography products which we plan to launch
formally later in 2007 - although our current brides and new bookings for 2007
and 2008 will get a sneak preview when we meet. I'll be letting Binny and
Vincent, and Cams Hall know early next
week.Last year we were very
successful in these awards picking up the second highest number of monthly
awards, and also collecting an Award of Excellence for one of only two wedding
images last year. Binny and Vincent stand to win £1000 if the image is
selected as the overall winner.For
now we will be looking to select some images from our recent work to enter into
the competition for May, and this image and others will also be entered into the
May SWPP competition (I narrowly missed the April
deadline).
