F1 testing at Silverstone

I had the fortune to attend F1 testing today at Silverstone. I have a fair few images to sort through and so I thought I'd post three from one team today just so I get something up before a busy weekend of weddings and e-Sessions.

I had the fortune to attend F1 testing today at Silverstone.

I love my motorsport and whilst I am happy shooting club racing and some of the more high profile events at Thruxton, or attending the Autosport show in January F1 really is the pinnacle. In the past I would have pitched up in February with gloves and a thick coat for pre-season testing. All of that is changed now with limits on testing and so June's tyre testing prior to the French and British grand prix's was my only real opportunity.

Here is the Spyker - these guys tested hard this weekend, giving it everything on the track and putting in the laps. At one point they overcooked it and all hell broke loose in front of me - fortunately I got some of it, although I had my camera set up for the panning shot you see initially and it happened so fast I couldn't change settings.....

I'll try to get some more up next week from the other teams....
