We like to think that we have a rare style that is a true fusion of traditional wedding photography and reportage.

What we can offer is a blended mix of traditional and modern wedding photography the balance weighted to your preference. No two weddings are the same, nor do we use a rigid formula to capture our images. Depending on your needs, the location and time of year we can create a photographic memory to suit you.

Our primary objective is to capture moments, emotions and natural photography - but we also know many of you want to record family and friends. Our preferred approach for this is to shoot a defined set of formal photographs, after the ceremony consisting of small family and friends groups, once you have had chance to be congratulated ! They provides anchor images for the album, create an opportunity for your guests to capture the event, and memories for the more traditional members of your family. Outside of these formals which normally take between 20 to 35 minutes we additionally shoot a combination of;

• true candids - subject is unaware of the photograph
• editorial - semi-posed usually only with the bride & groom and sometimes the immediate bridal party
• detail shots - the decisions you made on style & colour

Taken in a modern, dynamic style these complement the formals to create a story of the day, and typically represent about 80-90% of the total images and about 60--80% of the completed album.

Feedback from clients suggests that this approach allows them to enjoy their wedding day without it becoming a photo-shoot, does not upset or bore their guests and allows us as your photographer to blend in and create beautiful moments to record the day.
